He ‘kahn’ pay – but won’t

DSK ducks 16G in property tax on DC digs

French letch Dominique Strauss-Kahn doesn’t just cheat on his wife — he’s sneaking around on Uncle Sam, too.

The disgraced former International Monetary Fund chief, who has been accused of hiring hotel hookers with embezzled funds from a French construction firm, has bilked the American government out of more than $16,000 in overdue property taxes on his swanky DC townhouse, records show.

The onetime French presidential contender has turned his nose up at paying the levies since early 2011 — to the point where he racked up an extra $1,600 in penalties, according to records from the District of Columbia’s Office of Tax and Revenue.

The luxurious three-bedroom, 4 1/2-bath Georgetown spread was purchased by DSK’s wealthy wife, journalist Anne Sinclair.

If they don’t fork over the funds, DC officials may file a tax lien that would account for all unpaid taxes, fees, penalties and interest, according to tax-office records.

And once that’s filed, tax officials are authorized to seize property such as “bank accounts, wages and personal property to pay the debt,” documents show.

The market value of the home — in one of Washington’s toniest neighborhoods — has taken a hit in recent years.

Sinclair, 63, bought the 7,200-square-foot house from former WashingtonPost.com publisher and CEO Marc Teren in October 2007 for $4 million.

The couple put it on the market in October 2011 for $5.2 million — just months after the Manhattan DA dropped all charges stemming from allegations that DSK sexually assaulted a chambermaid at the Sofitel in Midtown.

But the asking price has since dropped to $4.7 million.

Meanwhile, an unnamed French prostitute told London’s Daily Mail she doesn’t believe a claim by DSK’s lawyer that he didn’t know that the women involved in alleged hotel orgies were being paid.

“Most of us were used to attending sex parties in expensive hotels, but DSK really made them very special indeed,” the prostitute said.

Strauss-Kahn, 62, was quizzed for over 30 hours last week over his participation in the vice ring, which was allegedly orchestrated at Paris’ luxury Carlton’s Hotel and the W Hotel in Washington, DC, and financed by a construction firm hoping to gain influence over the ex-IMF chief.
